I have a 2012 Altima 2.5. I read some of the other peoples issues with cvt transmission problems. I have very similar problems like no power and all. The difference for me is, it starts as soon as I turn car on. I don’t drive it for a little befor the transmission to get hot and than the issue starts. I had another motor put in at dealer. They suggested a new catylitic conver n so I replaced it. Also a new mass airflow is new. I disconnected catylitic from the second catalytic and stepped on the gas. RPM still doesn’t go up fast. Almost takes 2 full seconds to reach 6000 RPM. I removed air filter and same result. I changed out transmission fluid as the loss of power up a hill happened to me also. I am not sure what else could be robbing my motor of power. I do have a check engine light but that kept giving sensor codes that turned out to be ok. I read that funk could be stuck in transmission between engine n trans. Any suggestions anyone?
