Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1995 Chrysler Concorde starts right up o check
engine lights no hesitation, but it stalls out if i don't
keep my foot on the gas to keep it idling,I found the
breather hose had a big crack in it,i changed it and
still it does the same thing, could i have a clogged
fuel filter?or do i need to replace the idle control
valve?

Idle Air Control valve. Also check around throttle body for vacuum leaks. IAC is what lets the engine breath when the throttle plate is closed, which is the case when you are not pressing the gas pedal.
