2012 nissan altima 2.5s gear shifter problems

Asked by Kristy Jul 03, 2021 at 04:30 AM about the 2012 Nissan Altima Coupe 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was shifting from 2nd to 3rd and my
shifter just went up but my car went
into neutral and the shifter just moved
freely and won't go into any gears.
Clutch pedal is fine and i can push it in
and start the car and let the car run but
no gears.  Any advice would be greatly
appreciated.

The clutch is probably worn out. I suspect you abuse it by slipping it too much. Time to have a mechanic check it out.
