what buyers need to do when shopping through car gurus

Dear Car Gurus,
I'm almost done to acquire a Jaguar XKR advertised for sale at your site.
We agreed on the price of the car with the seller, but neither seller or me we
don't have experience how to complete the paperwork and for me a secure
transaction within the protection of your business.
Can you please lead me what I shall do as a first time buyer from CarGurus ?

If you want someone to hold your hand then contact CG's. This is a car repair forum. If you are an adult you can sell the person the car, give them the car, signed title and a bill of sale. Talk to your banker about acceptable forms of payment and do the transaction at your bank or at the DMV office. Checks take 2 weeks to clear IF they ever do. Cash is King.
