Who had to replace engine, because oil light failed

2 years ago, 2012 Hyundai sonata  oil light fail to
show low oil, had to replace my engine, at my own
expensive. Had no knowledge about engine
problems with this cars. Last night 12/19/19,  
same issue, just got oil change October! How is the
oil empty . It'll turn over, but sounds horrible, my
car be paid off  5 years, am I eligible in this
situation for a engine, this is ridiculous, never
received any information, or letter concerning the
engine situation failure issues.

Did you contact Hyundai directly on your situation or whoever installed your engine 2 years ago? Was it new or used? I also recommend getting into the habit of checking the oil every time you gas up with fuel and add oil as necessary. I wouldn't drive your car anymore until you determine what is making the noise.

This is why you check the oil level. People these days seem to think that cars require no maintenance until they break.

I did last year! I had it in for the recall stated all was good 3 months last it was dead I was sick as I still owed on it but corporate came through and replaced the engine with a new one and at no charge!
