2012 Malibu will not stay running

My daughter put gas in the car and drove about a mile and it stalled out, she restated it but it will not stay running.  What could be wrong?

Is there a "check engine" light on? If so get the trouble code read. (Any parts store will do it for free.) There's a million reasons a car can stall, and the problem may or may not have anything to do with the recent fill up. (However a malfunctioning EVAP system may be preventing the tank from venting like it should and affecting fuel pressure.) But that's just a wild guess based on too little info.
