Traction symbol to where it looks like I'm sliding

Asked by Bangbang31 Dec 19, 2016 at 06:30 PM about the 2012 Chevrolet Impala LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn sometimes, My car shows the symbol
to where it looks like I'm sliding or losing traction &
makes a sound but goes back normal. It doesn't do
it all he time but when it does it slows my car down
& if slightly stutters then once I put the wheel
straight everything is fine.. any suggestions ?

That means the traction control is working. The car uses the ABS and brakes to help you keep control when you hit ice. I think what you are experiencing is normal.
