Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have 2012 Kia sorento SX and has ABS/esc/DBC indicator light is on all the time. I replace front left wheel speed sensor but it did not work. What is a resistance of this good working sensor, the one I got shows more than 10Mohm means it is open, can you tell me what is resistance of new sensor

No sure, I've checked many but all seem different. But the problem may be the connector and the wires running up from the connector are bad. Wiring in a new connector may be the solution. Check continuity from the connector and up each wire. Corrosion likes to build up the wire. Resistance on the wire should be 0.000Ω,
I had three lights on for abs, traction, researched diagnostic tools came across TOPDON elite, caught it on a flash sale too, it quickly told me which wheel sensor (drivers rear) was bad ordered sensor with bearings. Install took 1/2 hour. Code was gone when car started. Tools 14mm socket, (21mm for wheel) breaker bar (cause i'm 65) phillips screw driver, and of course jack & jack stand removed wheel , brakes, rotor then hub as a note I am not and was not a mechanic
The resistance of a new sensor is around 700 ohms. If your getting 10 ohms you have a bad wheel sensor.

I have a 2014 Kia Sorento and the same lights were on. The dealership replaced the LH & RH wheel speed sensor. The lights came right back on not even a block from the dealership. Returned today, a week later, and they replaced the HUB sensor. So far the lights are still off. All under warranty, cost me $0.
I have a 15 with the same problem and got the extended warranty and they are saying it's not covered at 94000 miles
We've got a 2014 KIA SORENTO w/ the Wheel Speed Sensors as well. Dealer replaced back right Speed Sensor just below the 60,000 mile warranty. However, now the back Left went bad and we've got to replace it. I'd like to replace all three (3) which would include the Front Sensors as well. There appears to be a few different name brand Wheel Speed Sensors available to use and some at 50% less than the others. Some w/ limited lifetime warranties and some w/ only a year or two warranty. Do you recommend any particular type of Wheel Speed Sensor? Clearly the Factory KIA speed sensors don't hold up or last long and I'd like to go away from the factory installed.
