Power chips are generally a scam. They are cheap resisters that are installed across the intake air sensor. They send a false cold signal to the ECU and that richens the fuel mixture. It does give a bit of power until the ECU relearns, it lowers MPG's and burns out the catalytic converter - If you want a warranty voiding tune have the ECU reflashed. They usually charge around $1000 and the results can be seen on a dyno. Find a Kia forum and find out which ones are good.
