what size engine do you have???
ok the oil pump is driven by the crank and the front trimming chain cover has to be removed its possible to rotate and unbolt the oil pick up tube and with a coat hanger hold it up while you slide the old pump off and the new one on ....//if not you have to remove the oil pan
here is the procedure to do it ...we cheat and leave the pan on and sneak the oil pick up tube bolt off 9 - Engine, 5.7L / Valve Timing / COVER(S), Engine Timing/Removal REMOVAL Labor Operations: Click to display a list of Labor Operations associated with this procedure 1.
