Question type: Maintenance & Repair

the other day i pulled out of the parking lot at work, my engine light came on for the 1st time, then all of a sudden i wasn't able to accelerate, pulled over still nothing. I'm able to put it into gear still i had it towed to my house because it was after hours, it starts up fine and will go into gear with no problem. Can anyone give me any ideas of what the problem might be, it's an 06' Dodge charges SXT

If the check engine light came on it stored a code. Get the pcm scanned and figure out what code it set. Once you have the code it should point you in the right direction.
