My 2006 dodge charger stopped running while driving last week, it hasn't started scene all the lights where working so it wasn't the battery or the alternator i am thinking it's the computer?

throttle control center light turns on
for a while when trying to turn it on.

I would get the codes read. If you can get a hold of an OBD-II scanner. Retrieve any codes before you start replacing expensive components.

Yes, you can. Or you can attempt to borrow one? Unfortunately, the car is dead, so getting it to an auto parts store is not going to happen. They will let you bring one out to the parking lot.
