How to replace front drive shaft in 2006 dodge Durango

All you should have to do is take out the 4 bolts on either end and slide it out. You may have to pound on the ends with a heavy hammer to bust it loose.

If this is the shaft you are replacing, it should should be just removal of bolts on either end. This shaft is for the V8 automatic.

No mine looks like it slides onto the input shaft of the transfer case the has two boots on it four bolts where it mounts to the front diff. Again mine is 06 add Durango 5.7L limited

It does not juust come out either you need to drop exhaust or rempve bolts on rack and pinion not easy peasy on 2004
