Asked by Ambir Jan 12, 2019 at 04:14 PM about the 2006 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The battery is fine, starter and alternator both
test fine. Replaced the pcm, tipm, and oil
pressure sending unit. It will start run and
drive fine if you unplug something (battery,
ground wires) but once you turn it off, it won’t
restart with out unplugging something again.
There was a ground wire that needed moved
(moved it).

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good and clean, on both ends, not just at the battery. If it cranks good but won't start, check the basics, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes? Yes, taking cable loose may let something reset or something wrong with connection. Just my opinion.
