Little red box in engine apartment

I have a 2012 Dodge journey under the hood
to the left of the fuse box is a little red box
when you open it the motor days and two
little blade looking things pop up when you
close it the blade things drop down and you
can restart the car can anybody tell me what
this is and what its purposes is
