A 9 year old Dodge is a poor choice for reliability. You probably could not afford the insurance anyway.
Exactly as others have said! Plus a 16 year old doesn't need a car payment! I went down that road 35 years ago and I can tell you from experience it's not a road you want to go down!! If you were my Son I'd tell you to wait until you get out of school. Then you'll have all the time in the world to buy a late model cool car! Buying a 9 year old vehicle, especially a Chrysler product is asking for trouble. Having car payments and repair bills together is no fun! As I said, I've been down that road! If your ugly old Honda is not giving you any trouble keep it and keep saving your money. Maybe when you graduate you'll be able to afford a brand new vehicle! Or very close to it! Be patient, good things come to those who wait! Hope that helps! Jim
I loved my mopar 11 and am hoping to get it back someday. However, the mopar 11 is hard to drive (though mine wasnt exactly stock), for a 51 year old in washington with a perfect driving record it was 250 a month for insurance and the car was far from reliable. It got traded in because it needed a new harmonic balancer, a head gasket was leaking, had electrical issues, the front end had a weird steering issue and the front driver side tire would wobble, the rear end started popping, there was an oil leak, needed new tires and the brakes were warped, and the tranny was slipping. Don't buy one.
