thanks for gettin' back. Yes I did all that. It's not something I would normally do but I wanted to double check, so I disconected the neg batt term while at an idol and the engine quit, which tells me it aint charging.

yes, i have done this correctly. The alt has been bench tested and is good!

I am having the same problem! Did you ever find a solution? The battery is charge and the alternator is new. It still don't charged.. It drain's the battery and eventually dies.. I'm very frustrated with this..I appreciate any info I can get.

I’m having the same problem I’m going to check fuses and replace my battery cables (positive) that hopefully fixes it.. maybe I’m thinking the cable is damaged and the alternator isn’t sending enough charge to the battery. Hope that helps.. both of us. If anyone can think of anything else please reply!
