Yes, the 2.7T motor will fit in the 3.0 engine bay. If you've performed engine swaps in the past on modern cars it won't be much of a surprise the detail needed to get it done. There are a number of items that you would need to be successful and the costs will start to add up. You'll also need a different ECU and have it programmed to accept your key as 2002+ cars have the immobilizer. It would likely be cheaper, easier and far less of a headache to sell yours and buy a 2.7T A6
