can i change my 215/55/16 tires/rims to 215/55/15 tires/rims if bolt pattern matches. car is 2005 grand caravan

I bought a set of 4 tires mounted on rims. was told they were 215/55/16. like an idiot, I didn't check and they are actually 215/55/15. the bolt pattern is the same...can I use them without brake problems? car is 2005 dodge grand caravan.
