Question type: Maintenance & Repair

how many miles must I drive before the computer  reads the o2 sensor?

I have driven my van over 500 miles now. I keep taking it into the shop for testing. They keep telling me to keep driving the van.  I have replaced the o2 sensor  many times.  I feel I am getting the rope a dope from the van.  has anyone else had this problem.

I hadn't had that problem but I do my own work. Something is not right here. If the 02 sensor needed to be changed, it should have fixed the problem in the first warm-up of the engine. You have something else going on. Go and have the code or codes read from Auto Zone, write them down, and post them back here.
