2005 dodge caravan lights flicker and gauges move crazy

Asked by GuruDC2ZR Aug 25, 2017 at 08:50 AM about the 2005 Dodge Caravan SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The lights on my dash board are constantly
flickering and my radio cuts off and on. Also the
gauges are constantly moving like crazy. I replaced
the battery but its still doing it. The old battery had
corrosion bad on it. Also now when I go to turn my
van in its making a clicking noise but it still starts.
Idk what to do especially since I rely on my van for
my kids especially my oldest son that is
handicapped. Any ideas s please.

On your van it could be the starter solenoid is on it's way out. When gone, the starter won't turn all all.
