What Engines Fit my 2001 VW Jetta 1.8T?

I have an '01 Jetta 1.8 Turbo with a blown motor.  I have found it very difficult to
find a motor with a 5th digit D VIN.  Are there any other engine numbers that I
can put in my car?  Like a VIN C?  Without having to do any modifications to
the transmission and whatnot?  Thanks in advance!

107 ci . I have a 2003 1.8Lt and it runs WONDERFULLY!! Real treat of a car which I found abandoned at a shop out side Salt Lake City. I'm getting 470 miles out of 11 gallons premium fuel, and I buy ethanol free here in Utah, which the state offers. good luck
