Depends on what you're looking for. The Viper will be faster in a straight line, and have equitable handling, but the DB7 with have a FAR nicer interior and have much less road noise.
If you think aabout standard Dodge Viper SRT10, than stop. it's not worth buying. I would rather stick with AM DB7. Well if you looking for ACR Viper (Ring record holder) than it's worth buying.
You do realize that the SRT10 is still way faster than the DB7, right? The DB7 has 335 HP and weighed 4,000lbs, while the Viper had 600HP and weighed 3500lbs. That is nowhere near a fair fight. Again, it's in what he's looking for. The DB7 will be a lot more luxurious than the much-higher-performance Viper. Also, if you're a fan of Top Gear, Owen, check out Clarkson's review of the DB7.
Henry, I'm not talking about supercharged inline-6 DB7, but V12. prices are similar in Europe, for DB7 V12 and Viper SRT10. Compare cars from same year, not Viper from 2009 and DB7 from 90's. SRT10 had 400 back in 90's, and 500 before several years. Last 4 years has 600.
