Agreed. removing, disassembling, machining and rebuilding an engine is Labor intensive and often does not come with much of a Warranty. I recommend a Remanufactured Engine - it will cost about the same as having one rebuilt but comes with a much better warranty.

Agree with Tracy. Purchase a remanufacturered (not rebuilt) and have it installed. It's probably going to cost almost as much as to rebuilt the engine you have. You'll probably have a 3 year warranty on the engine also. And you do not know what other problems you may have with your current engine which will not be addressed during the cylinder repair which will just be re-encasted back into the engine.
