Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my van started and i put it in reverse and backed out of the drive but when I put it back in
drive it died. It acts like it wants to start but won't. We have changed the spark plugs and
wires, the air and gas filters also. It still will not start.

Ok so your vehicle quit and you elected to change out the spark plugs? Why? Find the problem and don't throw money into what still works. fuel getting to the carb for EFI? If not, check to see if you have a blocked fuel line and where? Filter plugged? Someone just posted a fix on what was wrong as their car suddenly quit. Changed the fuel filter after 5 years and it now runs great. Do you have spark at the plugs? Are all the wires connected or loose? My grandson's Jeep just quit and he couldn't get it started. My daughter went out and wiggled the cable wires and it started. Loose battery cable. Don't just replace parts that may not need it, find the why and fix it.
