won't start I turn key get power but car will not start

Did you check the starter or starter solenoid? Could also be a blown fuse. Many various reasons but I’d start there
I have had the exact same issue recently start with my 2017 Jeep Cherokee. Vehicle does not turn over or even click like a low battery but all the lights and everything come on. If I use the remote start, car starts just fine.
A couple years late here but I'll put my input for any one who reads this forum again. I had the same problem on my 98'. I replaced the battery on it after attempting to charge it with no luck. The battery ended up doing nothing different except this time the gauges actually started to kick in. But no crank. Then my dad had the idea to tap the starter lightly with a wrench as I turned the key and that got it to go. Going to replace the starter since that seemed to be the problem for me.
My car was idling from a remote start and when I got in and pressed the start button it shut off and refused to start again. I tried everything I could think of before getting a cab to work and when I got home it started and ran fine. The car was behaving as if it was already started so I think I may have confused the starter computer by perhaps not depressing the brake soon enough or firm enough. I had found a potential solution I was going to try which was to boost the battery to reset the starter but didn't have too. I will keep that one in mind though if it happens again.

Had same problem w my 98 12 yrs ago it was neutral safety switch PUT IT ON YOURSELF. Watch youtube. Takes about 1/2 hour its simple. I have to replace mine again. It wasn't my starter or ignition or the battery. Common problem w Cherokees. So is the odometer panel zeroing out while your driving and passenger windows not working. Great engine though. Also Use 1500 watt heat gun to get oxidation off plastic fenders. Watch youtube its great. Hope this helps.
