2005 Dodge Neon SXT. Frequently won't start

Apparently the positive starter wire glows red while cranking. Car has been very
difficult to start and now has started randomly shutting down and losing all
electricity. PLEASE HELP! My job depends on this rust bucket!

Sounds like you might have a short out some were, check the starter wires just to make sure that not your problem. Any check engine light on?

The starter may be bad drawing too much current. Also the battery cable glowing red likely needs to be replaced.
