Engine Jerking?

Asked by BritG870614 Oct 29, 2018 at 03:20 PM about the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V8 w/ 51k miles and she has started jerking/jumping. I was stuck in traffic and I would let my foot off the brake to creep forward, the engine would jerk. It also does this if I am accelerating slowly from a stop. I have not had her very long but she was babied by the previous owner. Any ideas what it could be?

Spark plugs. They probably got fouled when the previous owner putted around town also check the plug boots for cracks.

Thanks, Mike! I checked the spark plugs & man they needed to be changed. She is running so much better!
