Jeep Liberty burning smell left rear tire

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Every once in a while I get a burning smell from my left rear tire after driving
on the highway. It is usually accompanied by a "rougher" ride (best way I can
describe it). It doesn't happen all the time. My fear is, the mechanics at the
dealership won't be able to "replicate it" because it happens inconsistently.
No check engine or alert signals come on. Do you have any ideas what this
could be? Is it my emergency brake?

Hi, mine did this today. Did you ever get this checked? Same wheel and everything for mw

I never got it checked out, but I think it might be related to the fact that I don't routinely put my emergency brake on. Again, I am not an auto mechanic, but it was suggested to me that I need to on a regular basis put my emergency brake on. Since I've been doing that, no burning smell.
