2012 Subaru Impreza Engine Swap

I have a 2012 Subaru Impreza Base model and might possibly want to do an
engine swap. What would be the best engines to do this with to ensure the best
potential engine power output? And can I potentially turbo this engine that I
have swapped with?

Just buy a WRX and be done with it. You would spend far more than the car is worth doing the conversion and when you were done it would be worth next to nothing.
