hello, I just bought a 1985 bmw 325E I wanted, I do not know much about bmw's, so I wanted to know if it is mechanically possible to put an "M" edition engine into that vehicle.

Yes you can, its going to be a bit of work. you should cheak out the bmw sites and you will be able to get the info you want.
There is a small block Chevy conversion kit as well. It will give you all of the performance and save you a load of cash vs. staying pseudo authentic in building a clone.
^Peter is correct, you can fit nearly anything into an E30, and there should be plenty of info on BMW forums about engine swaps.
yea I did some research and found out that there are many different option that can be applied to this car engine wise. Do any of you know how hard it is to do electrical wiring on this vehicle as well. The only things that work on my dash are the speedometer, rpms, and the stereo...everything else doesnt do anything.
Wiring is easy and straight forward. Get yourself a Bentley manual or download the schematics, if you are so inclined. The nylon gears in the back of the speed fall apart over time.
