It would not hurt to change the plugs but they are probably good till about 100,000 miles. I would change the air filter and air up the tires if these have not been done recently.
Read your contract to know what was supposed to have been done.
Jim is right. Even with the OD off you should get better than 14. Is the check engine light on?
I just put it in drive I don't know it doesn't have over drive. Circle around TI think it's got for 2nd and dry
Well thank you guys I do have hills this is Southern California but it's silly I always have to go up the Hill the get back to the ranch so I don't know is just town driving but it said between 20 and 30 miles a gallon but I guess that's not right
That is drive 2nd and 1st
I want you to know how much I appreciate you giving me your advice. I will go to the dealer and find out what has been done as far as air filters but I have new tires
I get better than 14 in mountain driving in my 4WD F150 with a V8. I would have your car looked at by a good mechanic.
. Holy c*** you get 14 miles a gallon with the truck in a 4 by 4??? Lord I feel stupid thanks you guys I'm definitely going down to the fdealership and give them a what for
If you do nothing the OD is on. You have to push the button to turn it off and it will be back on once you turn the engine off and start it again. If it was off you would probably have an indicator on your dash light up.
