I was driving down the road Christmas eve, the light for my seedometer flicker, flickered and went out.

my speedometer light in my dodge Dakota 2004, flicker , then flickered then
went out. is that a bulb or a fuse problem? thank you in advance. Garage is
going to charge me $60 and bulbs to replace, hoping it is a fuse problem I can
fix.

On my 2008 F150, it was the "cluster" that went out. Thats what they called it. They replaced the whole thing.

On mine, it was only the speedometer part/compass/outside temperature(it's digital). Everything else worked. I hope you get it fixed..and CHEAP!
One bulb, one burnt out bulb. If it was a fuse other things would be affected. Burnt out bulb.

the garage had told me it was a possibility of two different bulbs and till they looked they were not sure which it would be. (and all I could think was...Isn't there a book for that lol) looking for other options now. Thank you all for your quick answers.
