Help Me Know Better

Hi Tom, The insurance company offered me $3167.27. When I look in the local marketplace, the vehicles available the same year and trim package as mine have 200,000 plus miles and/or they are advertised $4000 or more! I know I am expected to find something comparable to my car and I am not interested in trying to improve my ride. I just dont want to drive a worn out heap and get into a vehicle which will nickel and dime me to death. This is aside from the fact that I cannot afford to be on top of chronic repair bills! One of the reasons I did agree to purchase my Honda in the first place was that the mileage was so low. It also has taken so long for insurance to do their job that it has cost me a fortune to pay others, be it friends or a ride service, to take care of business. Don't get me wrong, we are grateful no one was seriously injured or worse. Just feeling like insurance companies are the only parties who make out in situations such as mine. It was the other parties fault and perhaps I am feeling a bit like a victim who did nothing other than be at the wrong place, at the wrong time! Thanks, Diana This is what I found when I entered my VIN on this website! Check the vehicles below the appraisal too! https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/instantMar ketValue.action#priceCheckResults
Diana again! I neglected to ask you whether or not purchasing another vehicle similar to mine from a tow yard is a good idea. I'm a little spooked by salvage titles. Anything specific I should watch out for if I find a vehicle at such a place? Thank you for your time! Diana
