valves

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I just bought a 2004 2wd dodge Dakota and the
valves in the head don't work. But I also had a 2001
4wd dodge Dakota that I wrecked, but the motor
and everything still work. Will the valves from my
4wd Dakota fit my 2wd one?

What does that mean? It is the cam that moves the valves.
I have no idea the guy I bought it from said that
I really just need to know does the 4wd parts fit the 2wd parts for the same motor
If the the engines are the same then the parts will probably interchange.
You don't mention miles on this vehicle. If valves are not working it would be a timing chain or sprocket. Worse case would be a broken cam. The chain and sprocket is what drives the cam that makes the valves work.
