My heater/AC blower in my 2004 dodge dakota

Asked by DChavez99 Oct 29, 2014 at 01:12 PM about the 2004 Dodge Dakota SXT Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My heater/AC blower has stopped in my 2004 dodge dakota. It was running perfect to a
place but when I started my truck up to leave the place no air will flow. I have always had
a great heater and and AC and have never had issues with it. Can you tell me what the
problem is?

i had this truck and had same problem. its a 25 dollar relay under the dash on the passenger side .you can get to it buy removing a small panel and it plugs in right there. mine would burn out once a year if used heavily

Replacing the fuse under the dash is only a band aid repair, the blower fan is sick and needs replacing. The fuse is an indicator to problems down the wiring and since it comes directly from the blower fan, fix the correct problem instead of the fuse.

I have a dodge dakota 2004 that the blower motor will kick itself off and on and doesn't matter what fan speed your on you can smack it sometimes and it will come back on and it will also Rev up and down
