On Jan 17, 2007 at 08:54 AM  a General question was asked about the 2004 Dodge
Dakota installing Tire Chains on a Dodge Dakota fitted with P265 70R/16 Tires.  The
answer given indicated that it would be OK.. However, looking at page 182 of the owner's
manual, I read the following:  "Tire chains are not allowed on...4x4 vehicles equipped with
P256/70R16 tires."  (tenth bullet in the CAUTION box).

probably due to the amount of tire clearance in the front wheelwell. the chains may hit the body when turning.
