If you have the owners manual check to see if there is a safety lock of some sort that may have been activated. If you don't have a manual check on line there are plenty of sites that have the information I'm sure what is happening to you happened to someone else, They are sites dedicated to Chrysler cars and trucks with tons of knowledgeable people who have worked on your type vehicle these sites are valuable for owners

Did you find an answer? I've been searching forums to no avail. My 2010 caravan is having the same problem.

Possibly the motor in the door drive could have failed. On mine the pulley let loose and i couldn't close the door without cutting the wire cable in half to close it. A trip to the dealer and $700 later i got the vehicle back. They had to replace the drive unit under the floor to fix it. It might even be as simple as the wiring harness under the door (broken wire) The way the modern vehicles are loaded down with bling its no wonder there are problems with them at times.
