Question type: Maintenance & Repair
It started fine, then after shopping all it did was click, after several attempts it
started. It does this on and off. Today however after all the clicking and start
up it just stalled in park. Re started and it was fine

The clicking is likely the starter attempting to turn the motor, if it is underpowered or failing it will click but not start, there can also be "flat spots" where as it turns it works and doesn't randomly; this is when its time to replace your starter; however a starter just gets it going, if it's stalling while running I would suspect a bad charging system, alternator, battery or something in between. Start with a free test of your charging system at a local parts store like Autozone, make sure that tests out good, then you can logically move on to the tune up parts, plugs, wires, dirty air filter, bad fuel filter etc. Is the Check Engine Light On?
Start by getting the car's computer checked for any stored trouble codes. Not all codes will make the check engine light turn on. Codes are stored in 3 different categories, Memory code, History code and Intermittent codes, and sometimes (depending on Vehicle and Code reader) will tell of a potential trouble code. My experiences w the Santa Fe's are from 2001 to 2011 model years and they are prone to starting/stalling and running problems due to the set up of the pollution controls which are located in a box under the bottom front passenger area above the drive shaft. When filling the gas tank, most people "Top Off or Round Up" the tank or pump, and this interferes with the normal operations of the 2 or 3 check valves and solenoids inside that box, causing them to fail and cause the problems you have described.
I just bought the Santa Fe this Tuesday!! It's only stalled once, however it just doesn't want to start. No check engine light,
