My Toyota highlander, Toyota certified. Our test drive revea
2012 Toyota highlander, Toyota certified. Our test drive revealed A.C. issues which should have been caught during the 160 point inspection but was passed. Our salesman had someone (not in service department, service department is located 4 blocks away, car never left the sales lot that's how I know) add freon. A.C. worked fine on trip home, 40 minute drive. Next day on a 2 hr trip A.C. ran cool, ran very warm 25 times, 2xs very cold, very intermittent. I'm concerned about the real issue as to what's going on with the A.C.. When I took it back to the dealer they told me the issues was over charged so they adjusted the freon level. It seems to be working fine but still not sure if I won't be hit with expensive repairs down the road. With over 6 hrs of A.C. running on over charged freon can that do any damage to the A.C. system?
