Asked by GunslingerXIII Dec 09, 2019 at 06:33 PM about the 2004 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD

Question type: General

Will the heater core from an 05 Durango with the 5.7L Hemi fit an 04 Durango with a 4.7L?

The Durango uses two heater cores, one in the front one in the rear. The rear cores are the same, so you can swap them. The fronts are different between the models. Why reuse a hater core? You can pick one up a new one for $60. Why go through all the work for the used one to leak soon thereafter?
