2012 ram 1500 evap canister

It is on top of the fuel tank and a real pain in the butt to get to. You may have to drop the fuel tank to get to it. I own a 2014 Ram and have had many evap. emissions check engine light problems at 30,000 miles. Recently I had it in the shop for 4 new tires and one day after the tires were installed the check engine light went off and it has not returned in almost a year. I tried a new gas cap and it did not help.

Did you figure out the location of the canister? Same issue here.
It is located on the top rear of the fuel tank. The tank will need to be lowered to service I believe. I recently had issue with a MIL light and in addition my tank would not fill at a service-station. It would trickle in only. I have owned it for a couple months and inherited this. I fixed the filling issue by removing the wheel & wheel inner housing. Then disconnected 2 of the fuel throat hoses, the evap hose and the air vent .I took my compressor and blue up into both hoses -one is metal. and when I blew up into the evap hose it was like old faithful blowing sand and dirt and crap all over. That just so you know is the fuel vapor canister and has a little mushroom cap on the end by the fuel cap. That fixed my fueling problem. My mil light takes 300 miles to turn on so i don't know if I resolved that to.....
