2012 Dodge Ram brake lights don't work when ignition off

Already replaced brake switch

I suspect Dodge wired it that way. On most cars the brake light works anyway.

Yea guess as long as work with ignition on, no biggie

My car the brake lights will not light with key not on.

I just don't know if this has always been like that , I had to have my tipm replaced not long ago
