My ram won't shift out of 4th gear. What might my problem be?

The problem is your common dodge trans. It's going out man. There is a relay under the hood you can try and swap out with another one but very much doubt it will fix your issue.

Took truck to Auto Zone for a free diagnostic test and it revealed that I had a bad shift solenoid. I asked if this was something I could change out myself and the tech said no, that I was gonna have to take it to the dealership service department to have it replaced.
