Door locks/dome light/door ajar all seem to be crossed in my 2004 Explorer

FOB and keyless entry pad stopped working years ago. Now when I open the driver's side door with key, the driver's side door is completely dead.  I have to reach to the passenger side door to unlock the rest of the doors.  When the engine is started, door ajar light is on (no door is ajar) and dome lights are on. Driver's side door is completely dead until I drive about 30 feet.  Then door ajar goes off, dome lights go off, and all lock buttons on the driver's door start to work. When I turn off the car, everything goes completely dead and driver's side locks no longer work. Also, dome lights stay on for about 10 minutes.  Is this crossed wires?  This just started happening about a month ago.

2004 Merc Mount. Door a Jar on, Door locks wont work, thought there was something else but can't think of it right now. What I do know is when I turn my dome light switch all the way off all issues go away.
