Why won't my dash lights go off?

Asked by Guru9G3X55 Jan 23, 2025 at 10:17 AM about the 2012 Honda Accord EX-L V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The other day I got a boost for my car due to freezing temperatures. When my
car started back up, the engine light and traction light were on and won't go off.

UHOH. How was the boost performed? Was a capacitive booster used or was it jumped car to car or battery to battery? If it was car to car or battery to battery then you got a feedback into your computer system, so now it will need a "Flash" to reset everything back to factory settings. Then the system tested for any upcoming problems.

I don't give jump starts for that exact reason , Like many things in todays world newer cars can't handle adversity
