Got oil changed, now A/C will only blow on the highest setting. Any correlation?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got my oil changed yesterday and they
took out my air filter to ask if I wanted it
replaced, I declined. They also had me test
my A/C as part of the inspection and it
seemed fine, as usuall. On the way home I
smelled something like burnt plastic and I
couldn't tell if it was coming from my car or
not, but I turned my A/C off anyway. Today
when I started my car the air wouldn't work
on anything but the highway setting. Could
something have happened during the air
filter check?

Edit: the A/C wouldn't work on anything but the highest* setting. My apologies.

Blower motor resistor needs replacement. 5 minutes and a screw driver you’ll be done. It goes out every 4 years on my Fit.
