my headlights, parking lights and tailights will not turn off even when I have turned the switch off and shut the ignition off, how do i fix this so i don't keep getting stranded with a dead battery?

even after turning the light switch to off and shutting off the van and removing the key, my
lights both the headlights and tailights continue to stay on and drain my battery. no matter
what i do they stay on. sometimes they will shut off by themselves and then a short time
later they will turn back on by themselves.

This may be caused by one of three things. Your headlight relays may be bad, your ON-OFF switch may be bad, or your BCM may be bad. I would first start by swapping out the relays. If no luck there, I would then have the vehicle scanned with a DRB III scan tool. That should tell you if you have a bad switch or BCM.

I have a Dodge 2006 Caravan & my interior lights won't go off!! & My locks won't unlock. & It's draining my battery. So what I am saying is my lights on in my car. & My truck light is on!! Do anyone know what could be the problem?
