Can I replace tires on my Camry?

Asked by TurtleGhost333 Sep 12, 2022 at 11:16 AM about the 2012 Toyota Camry SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had somebody give me four new tires -size
225/50R18- but my Camry has 235/45R18 tires. I was
wondering what the risks or benefits would be or if I
could even switch the tires and the car be fine?? And
advice helps and I greatly appreciate it, thanks in
advance!!

The 225/50's are slightly narrower and a little bit higher , height difference negligible
