Stabilitrack continuous code error P2138

After continuous errors, blinking lights, check engine light,  
engine power loss, and several trips to the dealer where
they kept replacing the acelerator pedal sensor and
assembly. I dicided even though im not a mechanic to try
and solve the issue on my own. Which I did. It turns out that
on my 2012 GMC Sierra that I bought used, had the
ecelerator pedal harness wites cut and taped behind the
pedal and floor mats. Check your wires from the pedal,
remove them from behind the floor carpet, inspect them
carefully.  Mine had bare wiring,  this cousing some glitch in
the computer
